Yesterday afternoon we had one of our wednesday afternoon golf day. The weather was great, sunny and crystal clear. The course was good, not too wet, greens were a bit slow but the fairways were nice and firm.My game was pretty terrible in the front 9, i scored a terrible 51 with 22 putts !!!!! The back 9 were much better, my driver seemed working again and i manage to score a 47, putting was still pretty terrible but not as bad as the front 9. We run into a cute family on hole 13 here is the picture. 

Yesterday we had a great 9 holes skin games with my friends. We played Gleneagles. I didn’t play well at all for the first 5 holes. From hole number 6 i started playing very well and i was able to tie every hole. At the end we finished with a tie, so we will have to roll over the pot for next week. We all had great time playing. The course was in great conditions and not too busy. The perfect sunday afternoon. 

Yesterday we had our first wednesday golf at Langara. The course was in good condition, greens were recently pounced and the fairways weren’t too wet. Weather was nice and sunny, a little cold when the sun went down, but definitely enjoyable. My final score wasn’t so bad either 95, considering how badly i played in the last few rounds. 

Tomorrow we will start the Wednesday tournament,  I really look forward to it.

Today i went for 9 holes at Gleneagles with a couple of friends.  The weather was great. The course was a bit back up at the first tee but after that it was moving at a decent speed. My game wasn’t too bad. I had a great par at number one with a good drive at the first tee. At number 4 i managed to get another good par even thought my drive was pretty stupid. Number 6 and 7 were a bit of a disaster… but over all i managed to finish with a decent 46. I had lot of fun and look forward for many more days like this. 

Yesterday we played Peace Portal golf. It is a very historical golf course in White Rock BC. The course is spectacular, lots of elevation changes, great old trees, very manicured fairways. It is a bit on the difficult side. Two things unfortunately weren’t right, my game which was terrible and the temperature which was really cold and windy. A very interesting thing is hole number 2 that runs parallel to the border between Canada and the USA.

From the tee box you can see the border crossing. The conditions of the course were pristine, which was quite a surprise considering that it was snowing Friday night.

Overall i really had good time and enjoyed the course. For this reason i think that i will have m tournament here on the 26th of July.

i booked a lesson for friday afternoon, I want to see what i was doing wrong last week end. Hopefully that helps.

Today we played at Langara. The course was still really really wet, most holes were soggy and the greens were in a bad shape too. My game was terrible, i really believe i need a lesson. I’ll look into that this coming week. Unfortunately Rick had to quit at hole number 4 because he wasn’t feeling too well. :(  

Today we went to play at King Links in Delta. The course is quite challenging, but very enjoyable. Very long par 4 and 5, quite a bit of water hazards, lots of bunker and thick rough. From most of the hole the view of mount Baker is quite spectacular and some holes are right on the ocean. Unfortunately i didn’t bring my camera with me. The course was not in the best condition, the green were just punched and the fairways were covered with layer of sand.

My game was not the best, after a great first hole, most of the rest of the front 9 i played quite bad. The back nine i played little bit better even thought not my best golfing.

Unfortunately there was a tournament just in front of us and that slowed down the game quite a lot. It took us more than 5 hours to finish our round.The weather was quite amazing. Overall even if my game wasn’t the greatest i had a very enjoyable day.

Yesterday afternoon after work we decided to go for 9 holes. I didn’t play very well… actually i played really bad…. Maybe i wasn’t really concentrating on my game. I hope to do better today.
